Andreas Hallermeier began his career as a Junior Portfoliomanager at the Bayerische Versorgungskammer, where he was responsible for the investments in “Emerging Markets Equities” and “Convertibles”. After the Financial Crisis, he developed the ESG approach of the BVK and became Assistant to the Chief Investment Officer and BVK´s first Sustainability Manager in 2015. In 2011 Andreas obtained the Certified European Financial Analyst CEFA and the Certified International Investment Analyst CIIA.

In 2017, Christian Thimann was appointed Chairman of the “High-level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance” established by the European Commission. He is AXA Group’s Group Head of Regulation, Sustainability and Insurance Foresight, Vice-Chair of the FSB’s Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures and Co-Chair of the United Nations’ Finance Initiative, hosted by UNEP. Prior to that, Christian was Director-General and Adviser to the President at the European Central Bank and worked at the International Monetary Fund in Washington.

Emma Howard Boyd has spent her 25-year career working in financial services, initially in corporate finance, and then in fund management, specializing in sustainable investment and corporate governance. She is currently Chair of the Environment Agency and seats on various boards and advisory committees including, ShareAction, Future Cities Catapult, Menhaden Capital PLC, the Aldersgate Group, the 30% Club Steering Committee, the Executive Board of The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability Project and the Carbon Trust Advisory Panel. Emma previously held board and advisory roles at Triodos Renewables PLC, the UK sustainable investment and finance association, and at the Commission on Environmental Markets and Economic Performance.
Chief Advisor at Council on Ethics, Norwegian Government Pension Fund
Hilde Jervan is Chief advisor at the Council on Ethics for the Norwegian Government Pension Fund. She has worked with research based social and environmental analysis at the Council for more than ten years. Currently, Hilde is heading the Council’s work on assessing the garment industry and is also responsible for the Council’s work on companies involved in tropical deforestation. Before joining the Council, Hilde was engaged in the development of the ethical guidelines of the Government Pension Fund.

Nick Robins is Co-Director of the UNEP Inquiry into the Design of a Sustainable Financial System. As part of this, he has led country partnerships in Brazil, India, Italy, Morocco and the UK as well as established the Sustainable Insurance Forum of supervisors and the new International Network of Financial Centres for Sustainability. Nick has 25 years’ experience in the finance, policy and research dimensions of sustainable development. Before joining UNEP, Nick was head of the climate change centre of excellence at HSBC and prior to that head of SRI funds at Henderson Global Investors.

Olivier Guersent joined the French Ministry of Economy and Finance in 1984, where he carried out many investigations for the French Competition Authority. He joined the European Commission in 1992, initially with the "Merger Task Force" in the Directorate-General for Competition. Since then, he has alternated between the private offices of a number of European Commissioners and DG Competition. From 2010 to 2014 he was the head of the private office of Michel Barnier, Commissioner for Internal Market and Services. Having held the position of Deputy Director-General since July 2014, Olivier Guersent has been Director-General of the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union since September 2015.

Sophie Elkrief joined MAIF as a Chief Investment Officer. She started her career in Investment Banking at Salomon Brothers and JP Morgan, in London and New York. In 2009, she took responsibility for all fundamental alternative strategies and credit. In 2013, she joined Meeschaert Asset Management as an ExCo member, to instill "best practices" and grow investment solutions.

Prior to joining ISS, Ulrika Hasselgren was CEO and co-founder of Stockholm-based Ethix SRI Advisors, which was acquired by ISS in September 2015. She has advised institutional investors and asset managers in sustainable and responsible investment since 1999. In 2000, she collaborated with Sweden’s national pension fund AP7 in creating their policy for responsible investment. Ulrika spent 12 years with McKinsey & Company and three years with Solving International.
